Second Circle v0.3 Released


At long last, Second Circle v0.3 is released with the addition of the new slimegirl enemy and the NPC Chiyo.  This update also adds a ton of quick tutorials explaining game mechanics and rebalances the game to make battles a bit longer.

Mechanically, there have been some major updates to the battle system.  The system now supports status effects, which you will see during the slimegirl fight as she inflicts stacks of the slimed debuff, which lowers dexterity.  So if you fight her with a DEX only build, you're gonna have a bad time.  

There is a also a new poise system for some battles.  If your poise goes below certain thresholds (or hits zero) bad things can happen, up to and including instant death!  Your skill to restore poise scales with your character's soulpoints so characters closer defeat will be much more susceptible to these effects.

Balance:
-Gave existing enemies weaknesses and resistances to attack elements (DOM, SUB, ROM)
-Increased player and enemy HP and reduced enemy damage to make battles a bit longer
-Reworked experience system for player character to allow faster level ups
-Unlimited healing potion usage is no longer allowed in battle
-Player now gets one random skill instead of three, but that skill will be for the stat with the highest growth
Optimizations:
-Made inventory, character, and close buttons bigger to improve experience for mobile users
-Added logic to reduce animation glitches where previously shown animation would sometimes resume at a midpoint
-Regenerated some videos with better post-processing to reduce flicker/discoloration when looping
Compatibility:
-Removed all match/switch statements from code to improve compatibility with JoiPlay and other Renpy emulators
